Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County, Education Division (Los
Angeles Unified School District) with Daughters of the Purple Sage and
Friends. There he participates in Artist in Residency workshops in the
LAUSD about the folk music of California in the 1800-1900s.
David’s goal today is to participate in and contribute to the broad
community of those who wish to create and make music and to realize his
own artistic concepts. Through his decades as both a musician and a
composer in the heart of the LA music scene, David has devoted most of
his career to being a realizer of others artistic concepts. He also was –
and still is - the creator of music that stands strongly on it’s own
merit.

that is keeping the family of music alive, and to making a strong
contribution to holding the larger musical family together via his time,
talent, perspective, and experience.
